Eric Clapton Concert 6/30

Last night at 8 pm I attended the Eric Clapton/ Steve Winwood concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Getting there was sort of a hassle since there is always traffic getting to the Bowl especially when someone like Clapton is playing. It's pretty amazing that our generation of born in 1990s and up get to see these classic rock artists play. This is the type of music our parents grew up to and now we are all listening to it. I have to see the only disapointing part was that even though the concert was Clapton's it seemed like there was more focus on Winwood. I would have prefered to have just seen Clapton because I think he is an amazing musician. Watching his live cover of Voodoo Child by Jimi Hendrix was a highlight-- great musicanship mixed with a great song written by another great musican = FANTASTIC! I would recommend checking out upcomming classic rock concerts because you never know how much longers these guys will be playing!
